Grantchester season 10 release date: Vicar in a snafu

The vicar in Grantchester season 10 may not be in a tutu, but he's certainly in a snafu. But that's why you're here, of course. Watching characters go about their lives in their idyllic towns doesn't promote the same sense of investment as when they're working out the latest crime in their community, does it? Luckily for all of us who love a bit of tea, Grantchester is back for a season 10.

Grantchester season 10 will begin on June 15, 2025 at 9/8c on PBS. That's a Sunday, by the way. You can catch new episodes of the show each Sunday night at the same time slot until the season wraps up August 3, 2025. Who doesn't love a good Sunday night appointment viewing? Grandchester is just one of many shows debuting this summer (too little time, too many shows!).

This season on Grandchester centers around an Easter-time murder, not related to one of history's most famous state-sanctioned murders that happened over two thousand years ago, but someone from Grandchester itself. Rishi Nair is back as Alphy, the buffest vicar in Britain (if you don't believe me, watch the trailer), while Robson Green returns as Geordie. Expect to learn more about Melissa Johns's Miss Scott this season, and be on the lookout for whether or not Bradley Hall's Larry can get over his jealousy of Alphy. Grandchester, of course, wouldn't be complete without its resident fashionista, Cathy, played by Kacey Ainsworth.

Grandchester will begin airing on June 15, 2025 at 9/8c on PBS.
