Amazon Prime Video is going to uncensor the profanity on Helluva Boss (unless the bleeps make it funnier), says cast

Helluva Boss is known for being dark, edgy, and profane.
It is after all a show about assassins in hell.
Some fans may have had concerns about the Helliverse show that’s in the same fictional universe as Hazbin Hotel would be watered down once Amazon Prime Video started producing it. But creator Vivienne Medrano is retaining full creative control.
And Helluva Boss will actually end up with more freedom to include swear words on the streaming service. They were bleeped out on YouTube so the show wouldn't get age-restricted and require viewers to log in to prove they were old enough to watch.
Amazon Prime Video plans to remove the bleeps, accoring to the moderator of a recent FAN EXPO Chicago panel. Helluva Boss actress Morgana Ignis says that some bleeps will remain in the show when seasons 1 and 2 launch on Amazon Prime Video if they get a bigger laugh.
"It's being decided internally right now where it's funnier where the bleeps are or if it's not funnier," she says.
Ignis got a big laugh from the panel audience when she opined that censoring the C-word when it came out of an Australian character's mouth "is racist and offensive to their culture," saying her opinion was that the word should be put back into the show in every instance.
Helluva Boss comes to Amazon Prime Video on Sept. 10.
