X-Men staple Simon Kinberg first kicked off his story of extraterrestrial menace in 2021, when Apple TV+ began airing episodes of humans vs. aliens tale Invasion. Now, things are coming to a head, and the character's we've met in the first two seasons are facing challenges worse than ever before as season 3 heads to the streamer. We'l tell you when in just a sec, but first, check out the first teaser trailer:

The Invasion season 3 release date is August 22 on Apple TV+, and when it does we'll be catching up with Aneesha, Mitsuki, Trevante, and Caspar as their lives continue to grow more dangerous with the mysterious alien species launching a full assault on planet Earth. Without getting into too many spoilers, the last episode of the second season dealt with the fallout of a major global catastrophe caused by these technologically-advanced invaders, and it looks like we may be picking up shortly after that in the series timeline when season 3 premieres.

Invasion season 3 premieres on Apple TV+ August 22.
