John Cena compares Seth Rollins to the Joker and CM Punk to Batman, as part of a DC/WWE (and AEW) comparison

John Cena says one of his former WWE colleagues, now in AEW, would make a good Two-Face

John Cena recently reprised his role as DC's Peacemaker in his HBO Max series of the same name, and the wrestler-turned-actor is becoming a key part of the DC mythos between this and his cameo in Superman. As he does this and finishes out his in-ring wrestling career with WWE, a fan at Fan Expo Chicago posed an interesting question - who his fellow WWE wrestlers would be in the DCU.

"Punk would be Joker – no, Seth Rollins," Cena says. "People change. Seth Rollins would be Joker. Punk would be Batman."

Cena asked for a reminder of the other wrestlers he was asked about. He decided one of WWE's most acrobatic high-fliers likely would be the superhero who can fly faster than a speeding bullet.

"AJ Styles  would be Superman. I think he has superpowers," he says.

Randy Orton said at one point he wanted to be Batman, the fan notes.

"So okay, both of them can be Batman. That's fine," Cena says.

Cena describes one of his biggest rivals of WWE's Ruthless Aggression era, who's now wrestling in AEW, as a supervillain after taking requests from the audience over which DC character Edge should be.

"Two-Face is good," he said after someone shouts out Two-Face. "You're friends and then you're not friends."
