King of the Hill season 14 release date: Crack open an Alamo for the show's Hulu debut

The cult classic cartoon series King of the Hill is getting a revival at Hulu, and here's the release date of the first episode.

Can you still say "that boy ain't right" when the boy has grown into a man? King of the Hill season 14 is arriving this summer, and time has continued to pass in Arlen, Texas since we last saw Hank Hill (Mike Judge) and his family. The latest Fox adult animated series to get a revival at Hulu, King of the Hill season 14 has already captured the fickle attention of the internet. So naturally, you may be curious about when the release date for the show's revival at Hulu.

The King of the Hill season 17 release date is August 4 on Hulu. While it's an exciting summer filled with new TV releases, the King of the Hill revival is sure to garner particular interest. Originally, the series began in 1997 and ran for thirteen seasons, concluding in 2009. The upcoming King of the Hill season 17 will consist of ten episodes. Created by Judge and Greg Daniels, the show is renowned for its grounded storylines and slice-of-life format. Here's the trailer for the show, which reveals the updated theme song (which teases how things have developed in Arlen since we last visited):

In the years since King of the Hill was last on the air, Hank has been working on a propane job in Saudi Arabia in order to secure retirement funds for himself and his wife, Peggy Hill (Kathy Najimy). But now, the couple is returning to Arlen and reconnecting with Hank's friends Dale (Johnny Hardwick/Toby Huss), Boomhauer (Judge) and Bill (Stephen Root). Also still residing in Texas is Hank and Peggy's son, Bobby Hill (Pamela Adlon), who is now in his twenties and working as a chef in Dallas.
Season 17 of King of the Hill streams on Hulu on August 4.
