Kingpin hasn’t fought Spider-Man in the MCU (yet), but Vincent D’Onofrio has a pretty good idea on how the fight would play out
Vincent D’Onofrio is already planning for a potential Kingpin vs Spider-Man and Daredevil fight (and it doesn’t go well for the heroes)

The Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Spider-Man has taken on his fair share of criminals. Since his debut in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has gone up against the Vulture, Scorpion, Doctor Octopus, Thanos, Mysterio, and a host of others. However, he still hasn’t crossed paths with Kingpin.
If you’re familiar with the comics, then you know that Daredevil and Spider-Man unofficially share Kingpin. The crime boss first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #50 (1967), so technically he was created as a Spider-Man villain, but he’s become a big part of the Daredevil mythos to the point where some would argue he’s a Daredevil villain. Either way, he’s tied to both of the heroes.
Vincent D’Onofrio, who has been playing Wilson Fisk since the 2015 Daredevil Netflix series, has crossed paths with Daredevil tons of times, but he still hasn’t faced Spider-Man. This begs the question; what would happen if Daredevil and Spider-Man teamed up against Kingpin?
“There would be a dead clown and a dead insect,” Vincent D’Onofrio declared during a panel at GalaxyCon Nashville 2026. A fan playfully tried to correct D’Onofrio, saying that Daredevil was a devil, not a clown, but the actor wasn’t having it. “You can call him a devil if you want. He’s actually a clown,” D’Onofrio joked.
The fan went on to call Daredevil the boss of Hell’s Kitchen, but D’Onofrio reminded him who that title actually belongs to. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. There’s only one boss of Hell’s Kitchen. There’s no Daredevil. There’s no nothing. He’s just a clown who runs around in an outfit.”
If this has taught us anything, it’s that D’Onofrio’s wit is just as sharp as anything in Kingpin’s arsenal. Spider-Man and Daredevil had better take note.
Daredevil: Born Again is streaming on Disney+. Spider-Man: Brand New Day, featuring Spidey taking on a whole host of characters from his rogues gallery, is in theaters now.
