What to Watch This Weekend: All the Alien movies before Alien: Earth next week
Before Alien: Earth, Hulu has Alien movies bursting out of its chest.

In life, there are just a few key questions that plague us all - but one you might overlook is 'What to watch this weekend?' In this world of multiple streaming services and never a great one-stop place to know what all is happening, Popverse would like to be the angel on your shoulder (and sometimes devil on your other shoulder!), giving you recommendations for the high-brow movies and TV to watch, and the feral junk-food of streaming to also enjoy.
For the weekend beginning Friday, August 8, here's What To Watch This Weekend:
We're in a rare period, with no major new TV series or movies debuting on streaming this weekend. Never fear, though, as that is when that Netflix queue comes in handy - or in case your Hulu Watchlist. That's because next week the new (and first-ever) Alien TV series will debut, Alien: Earth. This prequel to the classic movies skips all the wonky stuff from the Prometheus movies and takes the franchise back to Earth for the first time in a major way, led by none other than Fargo and Legion showrunner Noah Hawley. We never got that Doctor Doom movie from him we had hoped, but now the entire Earth is doomed as he's bringing the xenomorphs back home to meet us.
With Alien: Earth not debuting until August 12, Hulu has put allllllll of the Alien movies to date on its service for you to pick and choose (or watch the whole franchise (again)). We have a guide to how to watch the Alien movies in order (chronological or release).
