NCIS: Tony & Ziva season 1 release date: When Cote de Pablo & Michael Weatherly will return on Paramount+

Two of the most popular characters from NCIS are heading their own spinoff on Paramount+.

In 2003, the NCIS franchise began when the flagship series spun out of JAG. And in the two decades since then, NCIS has itself spawned a plethora of spinoffs. These include NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawaii, NCIS: Sydney and NCIS: Origins. While the first three shows have since concluded, another spinoff is about to join the franchise: NCIS: Tony & Ziva on Paramount+. Here's when you can expect the release date for the newest addition to the NCIS franchise.

The NCIS: Tony & Ziva season 1 premiere release date will be September 4, 2025 on Paramount+. The show will hit the ground running with three episodes available for streaming on that date. After that, the remaining seven episodes in the show's ten-episode first season will be released for streaming on a weekly basis through October 23. NCIS: Tony & Ziva is one of four NCIS shows that will be releasing new episodes this fall, alongside NCIS, NCIS: Sydney and NCIS: Origins. But of course, the NCIS franchise comprises only a fraction of the new shows coming your way this autumn.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva follows the titular characters, Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). Tony and Ziva were both originated on NCIS. However, after appearing on that series for many years, Ziva was apparently killed, leading Tony to leave NCIS in order to raise their daughter, Tali (Isla Gie). However, it was subsequently revealed that Ziva was still alive, allowing her to return to NCIS for a final mission. Now, NCIS: Tony & Ziva will see the titular characters return to head their own spinoff, which will see the pair on the run across Europe.

Season 1 of NCIS: Tony & Ziva will debut on September 4 on Paramount+.
