One Piece Day 2025 dates confirmed for August as we wait for the influx of news for the anime and manga
Any time we get to celebrate the glory that is One Piece is a good day in our books.

Every year, one of the biggest events in anime is One Piece Day. The annual summer event serves as both a celebration of Eiichiro Oda’s ongoing and eternally popular manga, anime, and live-action series, as well as a place for the latest news for the series to drop. We finally know when One Piece Day 2025 will be - though we’ll have to wait until August for it to arrive.
The announcement that One Piece Day 2025 will be held on August 9-10, 2025 was dropped just after the most recent episode of the One Piece anime aired in Japan. Like last year, the first day will be much smaller, with a stage show and a few small exhibits. The second day is where we’ll potentially get more information about the series as well as get to celebrate all of its accomplishments so far.
With so much time until One Piece Day 2025, we still don’t know exactly what – if anything – will be announced there. Last year there was a booth dedicated to the live-action series, so we could see some new stills or even some news about the Netflix series there. Any time we get more news about One Piece there is always a chance, however small, that Oda will finally confirm that the series will wrap up soon. Just how long can he continue to write the Final Saga, after all?
One Piece Day 2025 is set for August 9-10, 2025 in Tokyo Big Sight in Japan. Aside from any potential news dropping on that weekend, it is always one of the biggest celebrations of all things One Piece, making it an event for every fan to pay attention to.
