One Piece fans at New York Comic-Con, step into Wano Country with a new collaboration with Mercer Labs

As though we needed another reason to be hyped for NYCC 2025

It wouldn’t be New York Comic-Con without something cool from One Piece. Last year was the anime’s 25th anniversary, but 2025 is giving fans the chance to step into the Grand Line with an interactive art exhibit at Mercer Labs in New York. The exhibition celebrates one of the best parts of One Piece, the Wano Arc, and it looks like one of the coolest things to do at NYCC when you need a break from the convention floor.

Of course, there is a catch; tickets to the One Piece x Mercer Labs exhibition are not going to be cheap. The basic admission is $57 on the website, while a VIP package, which includes a lanyard, pin, and some mochi to snack on (a very Luffy thing to consider), will cost you $78. However, considering Mercer Labs' reputation for having impressive and innovative visuals, we have a lot of hope that it will be worth the money.

So far, we don’t have many details about what exactly the One Piece x Mercer Labs collaboration will include. The website only says that fans will “Enter a digital landscape inspired by Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew’s legendary journey through the land of Wano.” If we had to guess, there will be some cool drums and imagery to invoke the first time Luffy achieved his Gear 5 form, along with a lot of cherry blossom petals to walk through.

The One Piece x Mercer Labs collaboration launches on October 9, 2025, just in time for New York Comic-Con, and runs through November 30, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to see it if you’re at the convention.
