What time do new Percy Jackson episodes come out? Here's the season 2 release schedule

It's time to return to Camp Half-Blood with season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+

It's time to return to Camp Half-Blood. But I'm willing to guess that you never left. A new season of Percy Jackson & The Olympians will hit Disney+ in December 2025, this time adapting the second book in the series by Rick Riordan, The Sea of Monsters. If you, like me, were left feeling a little burnt by the previous feature film adaptation of the book, hold strong. We've got a glimpse of season 2 of the show, and this adaptation has gone to great lengths to capture some of our favorite moments from the book.

If you've got burning questions (a lot of fire imagery happening here) about season 2 of Percy Jackson & the Olympians, we've got answers. Read on to find out Everything you need to know about Percy Jackson & the Olympians season 2

One thing that Rick Riordan loves to do in his books is use hilarious chapter titles, and it's sweet to see the Disney+ show continuing to use this naming convention for each episode in season 2. If the episode titles don't make you want to reread The Sea of Monsters, I don't know what to tell you.

How many episodes are in Percy Jackson season 2?

There are 8 episodes in season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. That's the same length as season 1 of the show, which is fitting considering that The Sea of Monsters is about the same length as The Lightning Thief, which season 1 adapted. It's not currently known at this time if the actual episodes will be the same length as the runtime of season 1.

Will Percy Jackson season 2 have longer episodes?

Again, we don't know yet if the episodes in season 2 of Percy Jackson will be longer than the first season. However, if any more details come out about the season's runtime before it premieres on Disney+, we will update it here.

Looking ahead, Percy Jackson and the Olympians has already been greenlit for a season 3. Currently, season 3 of the show is filming in Vancouver, Canada. Lots to look forward to!
