Disney+ makes surprise Percy Jackson season 3 drop: Release date tease and a prom teaser!
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 is coming this year, and some of it has already arrived

It’s barely been a month since Disney+ officially renewed Percy Jackson and the Olympians for a third season, just days ahead of the show’s second — and now, fans already have the chance to see a glimpse of what’s to come in a sneak peak of the next season, along with the surprise reveal that it's coming sooner than anyone expected.
Following a cliffhanger ending of the show’s second season in an episode released January 21 — no spoilers, but I guess we’ll see how that particular character is going to change the status quo moving forward, huh…? — fans of the adaptation of Rick Riordan’s beloved book series were offered not one, but two surprises about what the future holds: a sneak peak teaser of the show’s third season, and the news that the third season will debut on Disney+ this year.
That last part is important, because it means that Disney is following through on its promise to shorten delays between seasons following the two year wait between seasons 1 and 2. Given that Percy Jackson — like Netflix’s Stranger Things — features a cast of teens playing a group of teens, it’s in production’s best interests to keep the pace up before the actors age out of the roles that they’re playing. (Just like… well, Netflix’s Stranger Things, let’s be real.)
That said, fans might have been more excited by the sneak peek clip, which showed Percy (Walker Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) together at what seems to be prom, with Annabeth taking the lead (and Percy’s hand) as things seem to move forward romantically, all soundtracked to Stephen Sanchez’s ‘Until I Found You.’ If you don’t want to fire up your Disney+ to see the teaser just yet, it’s also available on Instagram.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians seasons 1 and 2 are available in full on Disney+. Season 3, we now know, will arrive later in 2026.
