Watch the Smallville cast reunion with Tom Welling, John Glover, Kristin Kreuk, & Erica Durance from New York Comic Con 2022

Smallville's Clark Kent (Welling), Lana Lang (Kreuk), Lionel Luthor (Glover), and Lois Lane (Durance) went to a different kind of Metropolis, and Popverse was there to film it

Superman, Lex Luthor, and Lois Lane were all the rage over the summer of 2025, when James Gunn's Superman soared into theaters and kicked off Warner Bros' DCU. But two decades before that, those characters - plus beloved hero Lana Lang and despicable villain Lionel Luthor - were proving their mettle on The CW's Smallville, the show that arguably kicked off the modern era of DC TV. And a decade plus after Smallville wrapped, some of its main cast came to New York Comic Con 2022 to look back on its sprawling legacy.

Specifically, those were Tom Welling, John Glover, Kristin Kreuk, and Erica Durance, who took the Main Stage at the Javits Center for a panel just as exciting and important as their interpretation of the Superman mythos was all those years ago. And because we have some certified Superfans among us, Popverse was there with a camera, meaning you can watch the NYCC '22 Smallville panel from whever (and whenever) you are now.

And you can watch this panel from the immense Popverse convention panel video archive now as a preview of what Popverse members get live and immediately after the upcoming New York Comic Cons, Emerald City Comic Cons, C2E2s, and Florida Supercons.

Here now, watch the Smallville panel from New York Comic Con 2022 with Tom Welling, John Glover, Kristin Kreuk, and Erica Durance:
