One of the biggest anime hits of 2024 is coming back when Solo Leveling season two returns to Crunchyroll in January 2025. Fans who don’t want to wait until then to see how Jinwoo’s story continues can get a sneak peek at the first two episodes when Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- comes to cinemas in December.
In a move that Demon Slayer has used for the past two years, Solo Leveling is going to try to drive up hype for its second season by displaying the anime on the big screen. Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- includes a recap of the first season’s action along with a preview of the first two episodes of season two, which has the title Solo Leveling – Arise from the Shadows.
While -ReAwakening- isn’t exactly the Solo Leveling movie fans might be hoping for, it is a chance to see some of the gorgeous animation from the first season and the first two episodes of season two on the big screen. The compilation film will be shown in cinemas in the US and Canada on December 6, 2024. Other territories haven’t had a confirmed release date, but will we be keeping an eye out for them as they are announced.
Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- looks like it will be the perfect reintroduction to the anime ahead of season two, which will continue to build toward the climactic final battle against the Monarchs. The second season of Solo Leveling arrives in January 2025, a month after the movie’s international debut on December 6, 2024.
