South Park Season 29 release date: When the long-running, profanity-laden satire returns on Paramount+
"Friendly faces everywhere / Humble folks without temptation"? Sounds like somewhere we should all return to this September

The world may be falling apart, but at least we still have South Park. The long-running, profanity-laden animated satire created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be returning for Season 29 on Paramount+ before you know it. So when can you plan of the release date for South Park Season 29 arriving?
South Park originally debuted on Comedy Central on August 13th, 1997 and the crude, deceptively simply animated series became an almost instant cult classic. The show follows a quartet of boys who live in South Park, Colorado, a "quiet mountain town" that is the epicenter for a plethora of chaotic events, including the genesis of the supervillain Professor Chaos. The show follows elementary school students Stan Marsh (Parker), Kyle Broflovski (Stone), Kenny McCormick (Stone) and Eric Cartman (Parker) as they deal with the cavalcade of bizarre and topical events that transpire in South Park. Over the decades, the cast has expanded to include a plethora of recognizable recurring characters, many of them voiced by Parker and Stone.
The South Park Season 29 release date is September 16th, 2026 on Paramount+. The season will be comprised of six episodes which will debut every other Monday, with the season finale debuting on November 25th, 2026. It has been roughly a year since the previous season of South Park debuted on October 15th, 2025. Naturally, South Park is just one of the small screen release dates that you'll want to keep in mind in the months to come.
Here's an official teaser trailer for South Park Season 29. It's every bit as scatalogical as you would expect.
The release date for South Park Season 29 on Paramount+ is September 16th, 2026.
