Spartacus: House of Ashur Season 1 release date: When the Spartacus sequel arrives on Starz

The sequel series is headed to Starz this winter.


The beloved historical drama series Spartacus is getting a sequel series on Starz. Spartacus: House of Ashur Season 1 promises a return to the arena, but in a new era and with an all new story. So when exactly can you expect the release date for Spartacus: House of Ashur Season 1 on Starz to arrive?

The Spartacus: House of Ashur Season 1 release date is December 5, 2025 on Starz. The first two episodes of the show’s first season will be released on that date. Subsequent episodes of the ten episode season will be released on a weekly basis after that. It has been over a decade since the conclusion of the third and final season of the original series, Spartacus: War of the Damned, on April 12, 2013. But of course, Spartacus: House of Ashur Season 1 is just one of the highly anticipated TV release dates coming your way this winter. Spartacus: House of Ashur will feature the return of Nick E. Tarabay as the titular Ashur. The series will ask, “What if… Ashur had no died at Mount Vesuvius at the conclusion of the original show’s 2012 second season, Spartacus: Vengeance? The surviving Ashur has was also given control of the gladiator school that was once owned by Batiatus. This was in exchange for assisting the Romans in their killing of Spartacus, thus putting the slave rebellion to rest.

The release date for Spartacus: House of Ashur Season 1 on Starz is December 5, 2025.
