Want to have Stranger Things season 5's ending explained to you? Ask Louis McCartney, star of Stranger Things: The First Shadow on Broadway
No, the star of Broadway's Stranger Things chapter didn't tell anybody what he knows. More like Henry CRUEL, amiright??

Get ready to be very, very jealous, Stranger Things fan.
I mean, the aspiring thespians among us are likely already jealous of Louis McCartney, the actor who, at 21, has already played Stranger Things' biggest villain in both the West End and Broadway performances of Stranger Thing: The First Shadow. But even those of us without ambitions of treading the boards can seethe with envy for a moment, as the actor has revealed that he knows how Stranger Things season 5 ends.
McCartney made the statement in a recent interview with People, published May 28. The Henry Creel actor tells the outlet it was Stranger Things: The First Shadow writer Kate Trefry that explained to him the hotly anticipated ending of Stranger Things season 5, and teased the blockbuster finale as follows:
"It's a great end."
...Uh, OK. Not getting a whole lot of details there. Could McCartney at least tell us what the writer showed him? A script, or footage? Even the story bible for the last season? According to the actor, what Trefry showed him was:
"Something."
Huh. That's not very much to go off of at all, is it? In fact, McCartney even commented on how little info he was giving out, saying that to say much more than those meager comments "gives it into fan theories," something the actor clearly does not want traced back to him. That said, McCartney was more than happy to spoil some huge moments about his own production - which you may recall Popverse reporting on.
It might not be enough to satiate the need to know what happens in Stranger Things season 5, and it certainly won't assuage that boiling jealousy you feel raging in your gullet right now, but hey, it's something. Just not the kind of "something" that Broadway stars get to see.
Stranger Things season 5 is expected later this year.
