HBO gives the greenlight to a George Clooney/Noah Wyle ER reunion on The Pitt - if it's real
Okay. Raise your hand if you want to see George Clooney back in medical scrubs on The Pitt

He may be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood history, but there was a time when George Clooney was just that guy from ER. However, he hasn’t forgotten his roots and has recently said he’d join his former ER co-star Noah Wyle on The Pitt “in a heartbeat.” Unsurprisingly, HBO would be more than happy to make that happen.
Before you get your hopes up, nothing but a few stray words have been shared about George Clooney potentially joining the cast of The Pitt. He recently told Entertainment Tonight, “I’d do [The Pitt] in a heartbeat.” In response, HBO boss Casey Bloys said, “Sure, he’s welcome. I don’t know if that was a real conversation or not, but sure.”
The Pitt has been renewed for a second season, marking the second medical drama that Noah Wyle has starred in. He was one of the original cast members of ER, alongside George Clooney. The two starred together on the show for five seasons until Clooney left to go become one of the biggest names in Hollywood by making countless Ocean’s movies and one very bad Batman film. It isn’t a surprise that HBO would welcome him back to television in another medical drama.
Again, we’re not saying that George Clooney is returning to The Pitt. We’re not even sure that he’s even spoken to his ER co-star Noah Wyle about the possibility of showing up in the series. However, we’re pretty sure that there are plenty of people who would pay good money (probably about the same as an HBO Max subscription) to see him back in medical scrubs one more time.
