Even though he was the Punisher, people still remember Thomas Jane for his cameo on Arrested Development

For people everywhere, Thomas Jane isn't The Punisher, he's a homeless dad who's just trying to get his kids back

Chances are you've seen Thomas Jane's face somewhere. Whether it's on The Expanse, The Mist, The Punisher, Boogie Nights, The Thin Red Line, 1922, what have you, Thomas Jane has been everywhere. But the one project that he gets recognized for most? He spilled the details in a new edition of our Popversations video interview series

Speaking to our video producer, Ashley Victoria Robinson, at New York Comic Con 2025, Thomas Jane said that he gets recognized most for his work on Arrested Development. "I did a cameo on Arrested Development. I get a lot of that. That's really fun," Jane said.

On Arrested Development, Jane played a character named Tom Jane, a scruffy but handsome guy who Lindsay takes an interest in because of his resemblance to a movie star. However, because his scruffiness makes him look, well, homeless, he gets dumped by Lindsay. As fate would have it, of course, Tom Jane ends up actually being a movie star who's in town to shoot a movie called Homeless Dad. And the rest is history.

If you're a Popverse member, you can watch the entire interview with Thomas Jane (or should we say Tom Jane?) here, and you can catch other interviews from Popversations here.
