The characters of the Walking Dead universe can't catch a break, can they? Daryl Dixon has gotten the chance to travel across the French countryside at a leisurely pace, at the expense of being in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. Which leads me to wonder: people's study abroad experiences definitely got interrupted by the zombie virus, right? Imagine being 20 years old, living your best life abroad, your whole life ahead of you, and BAM! Zombies. Yikes. Anyways. 

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 will begin streaming September 7 at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. The season will premiere after a jampacked summer season for TV. This time, the pair will trek through Spain after their adventures (or misadventures) in France. Considering that Carol and Daryl still want to make it back home, somehow, in North America, they've got quite a long, watery road ahead of them. That said, if the Vikings could make it to North America hundreds of years before Columbus, then who's to say that two enterprising, fearless zombie apocalypse survivors can't? Season 3 of the Daryl Dixon spinoff show will introduce Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, and Alexandra Masangkay to the main cast of the show. AMC describes this season as one where Daryl and Carol "continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse." Surely, nothing can go wrong for them here.
