Don't you wish you could visit Hidden Leaf Village yourself? Try the delicacies of Ramen Ichiraku with your own tastebuds? Get into a fight with Danzo with your own fists? Ok, maybe not that last part, but the point is: Naruto fans would give just about anything to travel to their favorite fictional universe. And very, very soon, they'll be able to. A Naruto theme park wing is opening in Parc Spirou in 2026.
The news comes to us from Manga News, a French pop culture news site focusing on all things anime and manga. According to Manga News, Japanese producers Shueisha, Studio Pierrot, and TV Tokyo have all be working with Spirou for several years to create a Naruto section of the sprawling theme park, located in Monteaux, France, replete with sites, shops, and of course, rides plucked directly from the show.
Also revealed in the report is the size of the Naruto-designated area, which will come in at 15,000 square meters. That's a lot of space for rides and merch, though if there are Naruto fights scheduled to take place, Spirou Parc may want to prepare for some overlap in its other areas. Maybe the Smurf section could use a ninja or two?
Exciting as this news is, we'll also remind you that this isn't the first anime theme park we reported on this year. As you may recall, Popverse's resident anime expert Trent Cannon told us all about the Dragon Ball theme park opening up in Saudi Arabia, which is currently without an opening date. Still, both tehse stories bode well for anime fans who want to take their fandom to another level, and we couldn't be happier about that.
Anyone else hoping to get a Chainsaw Man-Land in 2027? Just me? Alright.
