Black Mirror is coming back for its seventh season, Variety is reporting.

Netflix's sci-fi horror anthology show Black Mirror has garnered plenty of press (and fan) attention for being eerily prescient about our growing technological world. From imagining the dangers of AI to picturing parents having a bit too much control over what their children, Black Mirror does a great job at poking at our anxieties and letting them play out, on the screen, with great sets and wonderful actors. It's no surprise then, that the show has had such a strong impact, even more than a decade after its debut.

This most recent Black Mirror season (which debuted in June of this year) has been a hit, according to Netflix, spending four weeks on Netflix’s global top 10 English-speaking TV list. Season six featured a slate of well-known actors including Salma Hayek and Annie Murphy, launching the anthology into a successful return after the show's lengthy four year hiatus. As for how long fans will have to wait for Black Mirror season 7 or, for that matter, who will star in the episodes, no details have yet been released, though we will certainly be keeping an eye out for what's announced next.
