Save the date: The Chicago comic convention C2E2 has revealed its 2023 dates

The Chicago staple C2e2 returns in 2023 - and returns to spring!

The dates for Chicago's 2023 C2E2 have been announced, and yes, it's moving back to its spring slot.

The 2023 C2E2 will run from Friday, March 31 to Sunday, April 2, 2023, once again from the massive McCormick Place convention center in downtown Chicago, overlooking Lake Michigan. We've already added to our growing comic conventions schedule.

Popverse Superfans will received a special presale link Wednesday, August 3 at 11:00 AM CT. Tickets went on-sale to the general public Sunday, August 7 at 5:00 PM CT. (Yes, Popverse is owned by ReedPop - which also runs C2E2.)

Launched in 2010 with roughly 27,500 attendees, ReedPop's spring comic + pop culture show C2E2 has grown to become a midwest staple - and pre-pandemic, it regularly held crowds of 90,000 and more. BTW, C2E2 stands for Chicaco Comic & Entertainment Expo - but you can call it C2E2 (we do!).

It's too soon to say how big the 2023 C2E2 will be - in previous years it has packed McCormick Place's South Building, but that convention center is so massive - the largest in North America - that's someday it could possibly expand to include other sections of the center. We can dream, can't we?
