DC Comics’ Absolute line of titles continues to be… well, an absolute hit. Popverse has learned that the publisher has announced to retailers that no less than 50 single issues across the line are being sent back to press in order to meet customer demand, with the results hitting stores throughout March.
The timing of the reprint push is worth noting; after all, DC Comics fans who haven't yet sampled the Absolute line but have kept up to date with the core DC canon will have their chance to meet the Absolute characters for the first time when DC K.O. #4 brings the Absolute and core DC trinity face to face for the first time. (Surely the kind of thing that is likely to drive interest in the Absolute line even higher.)
In a message sent to comic retailers Friday, DC announced that the following issues are now available for order (Be warned; it's a long list):

This isn’t even all of the reprints expected from DC in the coming weeks; the note to retailers adds that they should “stay tuned for more new printings of recently sold-out issues coming soon.” These reprints are arriving despite many of the issues already being available in collected editions — the first collections of each of the above series have all been released, with even the second volume of Absolute Batman already available — as well as digital editions. With issues already available in multiple printings (and the fact that Absolute Batman #1’s tenth printing was announced less than two months ago), it’s impossible to avoid the fact that the Absolute titles are a runaway success that continue to draw in new readers.
DC K.O. #4 will be released February 11. All of the above reprints of Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, and Absolute Superman will be in stores March 4. All of the above reprints of Absolute Flash, Absolute Green Lantern, and Absolute Martian Manhunter will be in stores March 18.
