Absolute Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman crossover into mainstream DC to "change the face of the DCU forever"
DC certainly seems to be teasing a DCU/Absolute DC clash in February 2026 with its description of what happens in that month's DC K.O. #4

It was teased in the very first issue of DC’s current event storyline DC K.O.… and in February 2026, it looks set to finally happen: the Absolute Universe versions of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman are about to enter the mainstream DC Universe, and nothing will ever be the same again. But — is everything as it seems?
DC’s advance description of DC K.O. #4, the penultimate issue of the series, reads, “Three mysterious new Omega-charged fighters have entered the tournament… and this trinity of the Absolute will change the face of the DCU forever! It’s all down to how far the final four are willing to go to win in the penultimate chapter of DC K.O.! Plus: Booster’s true allegiance revealed, Darkseid’s return foretold, and a bonkers last page that will bring the battle to the next level!”
Considering that the first issue of the series appeared to tease the Absolute versions of DC’s Trinity of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman — and that the description specifically mentions “this trinity of the Absolute” — it would definitely appear that the Absolute and mainstream DC Universes are about to crossover in the issue. But… what if the “trinity of the Absolute” isn’t the regular Absolute characters…?
This is pure speculation, but there are three things that would suggest that there’s far more to this story than meets the eye. Firstly, why would the Absolute heroes be doing Darkseid’s bidding, when they’re clearly the good guys standing against corrupt systems in their own comics? Secondly, Absolute Batman (and DC K.O.) writer Scott Snyder has said that the Absolute Universe will be "completely unimpeded" by whatever happens in K.O., and thirdly… well, look at the cover artwork for the issue by series artist Javi Fernandez:

It’s the Absolute heroes… but different, somehow. Are they possessed by Darkseid’s Omega Energy? Are they clones of the characters fans know and love? We’ll have to wait until February 11, 2026 to find out.
