From the start, DC Comics' Absolute Flash has been intended to have a different feel than the traditional Flash comics and even the other Absolute titles. Series writer Jeff Lemire wanted his Flash to be the teenage hero of the Absolute Universe.

But you can't have a teenage superhero in any DC Universe for too long without thinking of the Teen Titans. And here they come.

"We wanted to start bringing in more teenage heroes," Lemire says during DC's Absolute Universe panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2026. "The first one comes up in issue #20."

And with that, a design was revealed for Absolute Cyborg. Sorry, we couldn't get a good picture.

But.... he's only the first.

"He's not the only Teen Titan who will be coming soon," Lemire adds.

Lemire has worked on the Teen Titans before, most notably two Teen Titans: Earth One graphic novels.

Sources within DC Comics tell us that Lemire has several Absolute debuts planned for the Absolute Flash series in the next few months. While these may or may not be Teen Titans, look forward to the upcoming debuts of an Absolute Firestorm, an Absolute Atom, and even Absolute versions of Abra Kadabra and Rainbow Rider.

Absolute Cyborg will debut in October's Absolute Flash #20.
