Three indie comic book classics will be coming back to print in new editions with new cover artwork and more, starting in June 2026, courtesy of Oni Press

Portland, Oregon’s Oni Press has been making waves in recent months with its EC Comics line, the revival of Adventure Time, and its Nacelleverse titles — but the company isn’t forgetting its long history of groundbreaking comics, as evidenced by plans to issue new editions of three all-time Oni classics in summer 2026.

Beginning June 2026 and continuing with a new edition monthly through August, Oni Press will be celebrating its past with brand-new editions of James Stokoe’s Wonton Soup, J. Torres and Eric Kim’s Love as a Foreign Language, and Joe Harris and Steve Rolston’s Ghost Projekt — containing not only the complete story in one place (in some cases for the first time), but also all new material from the creators, including new cover artwork and more.

Joel hates Korea. When he agreed to teach there in an effort to pay off his student loans faster, he had no idea how much he’d hate it. He can't wait to go back home to Canada and return to normal life. His year-long contract is almost over and then he'll finally be free. But Joel's life is about to go from dark dreams to cotton-candy kisses, and it's all because of Hana, the new school secretary. Maybe this job isn’t so bad with his dream girl beside him. (If he works up the nerve to talk to her, that is.) The very sight of Hana sends Joel flying straight to cloud nine, but won't another year in Korea send him crashing back down?

Traveling back to Seoul in the 2000s, and perfect for fans of K-drama romcoms, fans old and new can relive Joel and Hana’s love story — now in color!

Ghost Projekt (New Edition) (August 28, 2026)

ONI PRESS PROUDLY PRESENTS THE RETURN OF A MODERN SUPERNATURAL CLASSIC!

From acclaimed writer Joe Harris (X-Files, Snowfall) and Eisner Award–winning artist Steve Rolston (Queen & Country, Emiko Superstar) comes a brand-new collected edition of their chilling post–Cold War-era thriller Ghost Projekt.

In the frozen depths of Siberia lies a long-forgotten Soviet research facility. Abandoned at the end of the Cold War, it once housed a terrifying experiment—something powerful, something dangerous . . . and something that refuses to stay buried. When the weapon disappears into the hands of thieves who don’t fully understand what they’ve unleashed, US weapons inspector Will Haley is sent to investigate. Teaming up with Russian federal agent Anya Romanova, the two uncover a dark legacy of secrets, science, and spirits that neither nation ever intended to see the light of day.

But the past does not die quietly — and in the shadows of old wars, ghosts still walk . . .
