There are few places trickier to navigate than the Sea of Thieves. Make one wrong turn, and you could find yourself sunk to the bottom of the ocean, losing all that hard-earned plunder. However, the setting is full of lore and colorful characters, so if you ever decide that you want to check out the world of Sea of Thieves without risking getting into a boat yourself, WEBTOON has just the comic series for you.
Titled Sea of Thieves: The Last Bite, this new webcomic on the WEBTOON platform marks a team-up between the company and Xbox, which has published and nurtured the Sea of Thieves game since it launched in 2018. Set in the titular pirate paradise, this story seeks to deliver the humor and light-hearted pirate escapades that Sea of Thieves fans have come to expect. It includes “a brand-new crew, a sinking ship, and one last mystery that could tear them apart.”
All five episodes of Sea of Thieves: The Last Bite are available now on WEBTOON for free, and fans who read the whole series between now and February 13, 2026 will earn themselves a code for a 1-month free trial of Xbox Game Pass Premium membership. Because what is a pirate adventure without a little plundered booty to show for it?
Sea of Thieves was developed by Rare and was first launched on Xbox and PC back in 2018. Since then, it has attracted scores of would-be pirates to the multiplayer game built on exploration, combat, and launching yourself out of a cannon.
