Toei Animation teases a "surprising reveal" at their New York Comic Con One Piece panel
Will it be a first look at the Elbaf Arc from the anime? Or a message from Eiichiro Oda himself to all the fans at NYCC 2025? We have to wait to see what Toei has planed for One Piece fans.

Next week is New York Comic Con, but it isn’t just American comics, film, and TV that are getting the spotlight. Every year, anime studios make the trip to New York to celebrate with some of the most passionate fans on the planet. Toei Animation has announced that they have a panel at NYCC 2025 that will highlight One Piece, with some special surprises for fans watching.
On Friday of New York Comic Con 2025, Toei Animation will present its One Piece panel on the Empire Stage. The focus here will be on the ongoing Egghead Arc in the anime, with producer Ryuta Koike, Series Director Wataru Matsumi, and English voice actors Ian Sinclair (Brook) and Madeleine Morris (Lilith – Punk 02) also looking at what is to come as One Piece rapidly approaches the Elbaf Arc in the anime.
We’re not sure exactly what to expect from this panel, as the description also alludes to a “surprise reveal” from Toei Animation. Will this be a peek at how the crew will adapt the Elbaf Arc in the One Piece anime? Perhaps a first-look clip from the anime? Could it be a message from Oda himself to all his fans at New York Comic Con? We won’t know until next week when NYCC 2025 kicks off.
In addition to their One Piece panel on Friday, Toei Animation will be at the show every day with a giant Luffy balloon in his Gear 5 form hanging over their booth. That booth will include an “immersive One Piece experience” and “never-before-seen graphic images from the anime series.” Plenty for One Piece fans to get excited about.
