Marvel and Magic the Gathering drop a surprise Deadpool set for April Pool's Day (No, that's not a typo)
The Secret Lair X Marvel’s Deadpool set is available for order now and ships April 3

To celebrate our 3rd anniversary, all members-only content debuting this week is free for one week! New members can also join for just $0.99/month for their first 3 months (save $15!) with code THREEYEARSOFPV.
Popverse's top stories of the day
- Marvel’s X-Men comics are broken, says Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, but he knows who can fix them (No, it's not him)
- MEMBERS ONLY: Gamify My Life: The most important part of The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion was always the bugs and I'm glad the Remaster kept them in
- WATCH NOW: Watch the Blue Lock anime reunion with the voice actors behind Yoichi, Rin, and Megura from MCM x EGX
Well, that’s how you celebrate April Fool’s Day — not by playing a prank on some unsuspecting (but potentially deserving, let’s be real) schmuck, but by dropping a surprise Marvel x Magic the Gathering collaboration that is both announced and shipped in the same week. Happy April Pools, everyone!

The limited edition Secret Lair X Marvel’s Deadpool set is immediately available for preorder, although supplies are limited; shipping will begin April 3. The set includes the following:
- 1x Deadpool Trading Card
- 1x Deadly Rollick
- 1x Saw in Half
- 1x Blasphemous Act
- 1x Vandalblast
The official description of the set runs as follows: “But I wasn’t expecting guests. Just, uh, kick back, relax, and . . . don’t sit on my red suit! It’s drying out. But check this out—Secret Lair made me my own Deadpool cards! Isn’t that nice? So pretty. This one even says, ‘trading card,’ so you don’t forget. Anyway, make yourself comfortable and if you need anything, I’ll be in the kitchen making chimichangas.”
Art for the set comes from Justine Cruz, Slawomir Maniak, Miguel Mercado, Kevin Sidharta and Tomasz Zarucki.
You see, everyone else? This is what we want from April Fool’s Day!
