Fully equipped with all of the downloadable content that was released for the original remaster of the game, Gears of War: Reloaded from The Coalition, Sumo Digital, Disbelief and Xbox Game Studios is sure to offer a once-in-a-lifetime gaming experience. So when can you secure the game for yourself?

The Gears of War: Reloaded release date is August 26 on PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S. The franchise began with the original release of Gears of War in 2006 from Epic Games. The game has spawned direct four sequels. Plus, the original game has previously been re-released once before. In August 2015, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was released on Xbox One, with a version for Windows following in March 2016. Now, a decade later, the newly remastered version of the game, Gears of War: Reloaded, is one of this year's exciting summer gaming releases. Here's the trailer for the game:

In Gears of War: Reloaded, players will enjoy a retelling of the original game that adds updated gameplay features and content to the mix. Like the original, the story follows soldiers in service of the Coalition of Ordered Governments (or "COG"). The game focuses on Marcus Fenix (John DiMaggio) and his fellow soldiers in Delta Squad. They must do battle with the Locust on the planet Sera. Gameplay takes the form of a third-person shooter, with a emphasis on avoiding confrontation when possible in order to prolong survival.
Gears of War: Reloaded will be released on August 26 on PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series X/S.
