Magic: The Gathering is getting bigger and bigger with each year that goes by. According to a new report from Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast - specifically Magic: The Gathering - has led the charge in a successful fiscal quarter for the company. 

In the report, Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks stated, "Hasbro posted another quarter of topline growth, led by Wizards of the Coast. Magic: The Gathering eclipsed $500 million in quarterly revenue for the first time in its 30-plus year history, led by the record-breaking debut of Marvel Super Heroes. With strong indications for our remaining releases and line of sight to continued growth in 2027, the Magic flywheel is firing on all cylinders."

Over the past year, Hasbro's revenue increased by 16%, which the company attributes to a 27% increase in revenue from Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming. To get more specific, Magic achieved a 34% increase in revenue over the past year alone. Elsewhere in the report, they noted that Magic's growth was "fueled by Secrets of Strixhaven and Marvel Super Heroes," signifying that both Magic's in-universe sets and Universes Beyond crossover sets are working in tandem to bring the game to new heights. 

Lastly, Hasbro's report states that Magic's Secret Lair and Backlist helped build the "momentum" that led to Magic's financial success. And we can't argue with that - the people love their Secret Lair drops.
