Star Trek fans will be able to visit the Final Frontier with a Magic the Gathering crossover in 2026

Boldly go where no... actually, we expect that when the MTG x Star Trek collab drops next year, most everybody who's a fan of either of those properties will be going

There I was, waiting for that Klingon D&D parody that the cast of Lower Decks was playing, and what sneaks up on me but a much more real (and admittedly more probable) collaboration between Wizards of the Coast and the folks that steer Starship Paramount. You read it right, Trekkies, Star Trek will officially be coming to Magic: The Gathering in 2026.

The news comes out of MagicCon Atlanta 2025, and later from a post made by the official MTG social media accounts. And what's more... OK, so actually there isn't much more, save for a release window that, well, might not exactly please you fans reading this. MTG x Star Trek will arrive in game stores everywhere November of 2026. While that's admittedly awhile away, we are talking about a series set in the future. Just consider how much sooner this set is coming than, say, faster-than-light space travel!

Magic: The Gathering x Star Trek arrives at station near you November of 2026. Until then, all of Star Trek is streaming on Paramount+.
