Good news: Deadpool will now be yapping less in Marvel Rivals

A new Marvel Rivals patch will reduce the amount of times you hear Deadpool and Galacta talk in the game

Sure, we know that video games have gotten more and more chatty over the years, but when Deadpool joined Marvel Rivals earlier this month, the game got chattier than ever. And it makes sense: Deadpool is called the "Merc with the Mouth" in Marvel Comics for a reason. Once he starts talking, he doesn't stop.

Or, maybe not. A new patch has hit Marvel Rivals today, and part of the changes hitting the NetEase game is that the banter between Galacta and Deadpool before each match has now been "reduced." As per the game's website, "We've reduced the frequency of Deadpool and Galacta's voice lines, and now, only Deadpool himself can hear their intergalactic inside jokes. Sorry, fourth wall!"

Not long after Deadpool was released earlier this month, fans began complaining on Reddit that the amount of talking between him and Galacta before each match was getting tiresome. Personally, I didn't mind it, but now that we're a couple of weeks out from his release, I'll admit that I'm happy to see it go, especially since there wasn't a lot of variance between the voice lines between Deadpool and Galacta.

Anyways, if you miss hearing Deadpool's voice before practically every match, might I interest you in reading one of Deadpool's best X-Men comics, Uncanny X-Force
