There's nothing like word of a new book by your favorite author. The liminal state between the announcement of a new book and when it finally comes out is one of the most intoxicating (and I admit, infuriating) parts of being a reader; as someone who has been doing it for far too long, I recommend re-reading previous books by the author to keep from getting antsy (while being just antsy enough).

It's with that in mind that we here at Popverse have made a comprehensive list of all the upcoming books we're excited for - this list is new books in the world of fantasy, sci-fi, romance, political thrillers, horrors, and also those murky areas we don't have a name for (and laugh at when a local bookstore shelves it in what we see as the wrong place).
