In the new Charlize Theron movie Apex, the action star plays a rock climber who is being pursued by a murderous hunter. Before you know it, Apex will be making its debut on Netflix. So when can you plan on the streaming release date for Apex on Netflix?
The Apex release date is April 24th, 2026 on Netflix. The screenplay was written by Jeremy Robbins and the movie was directed by Baltasar Kormákur. Principle photography for the movie took place around Sydney and New South Wales, Australia in early 2025. In Apex, Theron plays a rock climber who plans to test her resilience alone in the Australian wilderness. But the self-administered test is complicated by a hunter (Taron Egerton) who has chosen the most dangerous game as his quarry. After she unsuspectingly asks the hunter for directions, she find herself encountering him again at her destination. But someone has stolen her gear and she soon finds herself being pursued through the wilderness by the hunter. Can she survive the experience... and/or can he?
