Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld points out the secret Deadpool & Wolverine/The Fantastic Four: First Steps connection
What if... the same street played an important part in MCU history on different Earths?

Some parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe just resonate: Avengers Tower, for example, or the Golden Halls of Asgard. Locations that are instantly recognizable, whenever they appear. Now, a new contender has been added to the list — that generic street where Wolverine and Deadpool walked in slow motion to meet an army of variant Deadpools.
As none other than Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld pointed out on social media, the street that the gaggle of excitable kids run down while racing to watch the Fantastic Four on television in the teaser for the first teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps should look pretty familiar to hardcore Marvel Studios fans, as it would appear to be the very same street that was used for the big multiple Deadpools fight in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine. You can see it at the 1:11 mark in the video below:
This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as both movies shot in the same place: Pinewood Studios, in London. Clearly, there’s a backlot there that doubles as a generic American street with minimal dressing, perfect for both climactic battles and excitable kids looking for the future of the MCU on tiny little televisions. Marvel’s multiverse is a magical, vast place, but the real world only has so many streets with filming permits.
The real question is: did the 1960s FF Earth version of the street still have Liefeld’s Just Feet as a storefront?
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released July 25, 2025.
