Happy Gilmore 2 release date: Adam Sandler's golf comedy sequel is putt-putting towards Netflix

Here's when you can stream Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix, the sequel to the beloved Adam Sandler comedy.

We all know that a golf ball's home is the hole on the course. And the home for the sequel to Adam Sandler's beloved golf comedy movie, Happy Gilmore 2, is on Netflix. The release date for the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2 is just around the water hazard. And in addition to bringing back the biggest stars from the original movie, Happy Gilmore 2 will be filled to the brim of the sand trap with cameos from real life professional golfers. Fore!

The Happy Gilmore 2 release date is July 25 on Netflix. It's fitting that a movie sequel this big is getting a Friday release in the middle of summer, and it will be a perfect way to relax after a long day on the green. But of course, that also means it will face competition from some other high-profile summer releases. Almost three decades have passed since the original movie was released in theaters in February 1996. While you wait for the sequel to arrive, you can check out the trailer here:

Happy Gilmore 2 picks up thirty years after the events of the original movie. Sadly, the titular Gilmore (Sandler) has seemingly lost his golfing acumen. However, he'll have to somehow reconnect with his sporting talent in order to afford the $300,000 price tag for his daughter Vienna's (Sunny Sandler) ballet school. The sequel will see Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Ben Stiller reprising their roles from the original movie. New additions to the cast include Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio and Benny Safdie. And the star-studded cast will also include Eric André, Kevin Nealon, Haley Joel Osment and Nick Swardson, among many others. Plus, there will also be at least twenty professional golf players making cameos as well.
Happy Gilmore 2 will be released on July 25 on Netflix.
