By the Power of Grayskull! The big-screen live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe is heading to theaters this summer. So, when can you expect the release date for Masters of the Universe to arrive?

The Masters of the Universe release date is June 5th, 2026 in theaters. The movie is the latest entry in the Masters of the Universe franchise, which originated with Mattel's 1992 action figure line of the same name. While there have been plenty of titles associated with the franchise over the intervening decades, this is only the second live-action outing, after the 1987 movie of the same name. Naturally, there are plenty of other movie release dates you'll want to keep track of this summer. Here's the official trailer for Masters of the Universe:

In Masters of the Universe, Nicholas Galitzine stars as Prince Adam/He-Man. Sent to Earth for his own protection as a child, the movie sees Adam discovering his origins on Eternia and laying claim to his true identity. The star-studded cast also includes Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, Kristen Wiig, Jared Leto and Idris Elba.

The release date for Masters of the Universe in theaters is June 5th, 2026.
