And they said print media was dying.
That certainly isn't the case for The Daily Planet, the DC Comics staple and workplace of one Clark Kent. In a recently released teaser for the upcoming Superman trailer (one day and counting, as of this writing), we got our first glimpse at the paragon of journalism as it will appear in James Gunn and Peter Safran's DC Universe. And since the building means nothing without its story-sniffing staff, we got a look at them as well.
The Planeteers only appear for a brief second at the beginning of this teaser, so we've gone ahead and grabbed a screenshot to point them out. Pictured below is that screenshot, which features first looks Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, and Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant in official DC Studios footage.

As your friend and mine Trent Cannon pointed out in the Popverse Slack, the 2025 Superman movie seems poised to capture the wonder of seeing a man fly, just like the Christopher Reeve/Richard Donner film did all the way back in 1978. We expect to feel that wonder, in much the same way the citizenry of Metropolis do in this teaser, when we first see David Corenswet take flight next summer.
And with the Daily Planet cast assembled, we'll have some folks to wonder along with.
Superman flies into theaters July 11, 2025.
