Fans of both The Walking Dead and Invincible can rejoice: Robert Kirkman has teased that it's "possible" more TWD alums will appear in the smash-hit adult animated superhero series.

Kirkman shared the information on Saturday, October 14, during the Amazon Studios panel at New York Comic Con 2023. "It's possible that there might be more Walking Dead alums popping up in Invincible at one point," said Kirkman.

While Kirkman made no promises, any TWD alums who appear on Invincible would join the ranks of those alums who have already appeared. These include Steven Yeun, who plays Invincible's titular protagonist. Previously, Yeun played the role of fan-favorite Glenn Rhee on TWD.

Several TWD alums have played supporting roles on Invincible, as well. Khary Payton, who played Ezekiel Sutton on TWD, plays Black Samson on Invincible. And Ross Marquand, who played Aaron on TWD, plays Invincible's Rudy.

Plus, several other TWD alums have played smaller roles on Invincible. These include Sonequa Martin-Green, Lennie James, Michael Cudlitz, Chad Coleman and Lauren Cohen. Each of these TWD alums played members of the Guardians of the Globe. However, fans of Invincible know very well why these characters appeared in only one episode.

Speaking of unspeakable violence, rumors have already circulated suggesting that TWD alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan may appear in Invincible season 2. And previously, Kirkman has stated that "there’s not really anyone [he] wouldn’t want to bring in" from TWD, specificing citing Morgan, Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride.
