When does Emerald Fennell's Saltburn hit streaming?
The movie, starring Barry Keoghan and produced by Margot Robbie, will be in a theater near you soon, but the exact date depends on your location
This holiday season, film fanatics will be giving thanks to director Emerald Fennell, whose upcoming estate-set drama/thriller Saltburn has been the talk of Hollywood. If you're a fan of folks like Rosamund Pike, Carey Mulligan, or (my personal favorite) Richard E. Grant, you might want to check the film out on opening day. But just when is opening day, exactly?
Popverse has put together this Saltburn release date guide to answer that question, and we aren't stopping with just the US date. In fact, we're not even stopping with the theatrical release date, but we'll explain that once we get there.
And before we move forward, let's clarify something really quickly. When we're talking about release dates here, we're focusing on the wide-release dates, not factoring in Saltburn's film festival premieres. Especially since, well, they all already happened.
What's the Saltburn release date in the US?
Unlike some other movies like Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, Saltburn willl actually be hitting the US in two waves. First, the movie will be out in select theaters in New York, LA, Chicago, and more this Friday, November 17. However, it will be another few days before Saltburn is released nationwide. If you're not in the select cities mentioned above, you're going to have to wait until November 22 to catch Fennell's class thriller.
But what if you're not in the US at all?
What's the Saltburn release date for the rest of the world?
Thankfully, Saltburn is hitting theaters across the globe at roughly the same time. Cinemaphiles in Australia get to catch it first, as the film drops November 16 there, a day before it gets its limited release in the US. The next day, November 17, is when viewers in Poland and the UK will get their chance to see it in theaters across those countries. Canadians will be celebrating with the US when Saltburn hits their theaters on November 22, and, unfortunatley, if you're Irish, you'll have to wait until November 24 to see the thriller.

Cinema lovers wont have to wait too long to catch Emerald Fennell's second movie. Saltburn will debut on Amazon's Prime Video on December 22, just in time for Christmas (though the movie's mature content may not make it a good fit for family viewing).
