Every season there are countless new isekai anime that flood the airwaves. Most are forgettable beyond their suitably ridiculous titles, but occasionally one comes out that captures our attention. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is certainly one of the better ones. Its third season is due out during the Spring 2024 anime season, but now we know exactly when That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season three’s release date is.

The third season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will debut on March 30, 2024, and is likely to be part of Crunchyroll’s simulcast line-up for the season. This season will run over two consecutive cours. A final episode total hasn’t been revealed but we expect it to be somewhere in the region of 24 episodes like seasons one and two were. The announcement also came with a trailer for the new season, which showed off some of the new characters and the new opening theme song.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is one of many isekai anime that sees someone from our world reborn in a fantasy world and tasked with saving it. The difference here is that, instead of having to kill the demon lord or monstrous invasion, Satoru Mikami is reborn as a Slime monster and sets out to bring peace and harmony to his new home’s various races. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have to fight on occasion – it just means the threat is less carved in stone.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season three will debut on March 30, 2024 and will run for two consecutive anime seasons.
