Chicago P.D. season 13 release date: When the new season of the Dick Wolf series returns to NBC

The second show to launch in the One Chicago franchise returns to NBC this fall.

In Chicago P.D., viewers get a chance to follow the lives of a police department in Chi-Town. The second series to launch in the One Chicago franchise from Dick Wolf, Chicago P.D., joined Chicago Fire and was followed by Chicago Med. S,o when can you expect the release date for Chicago P.D. season 13 on NBC to arrive?

The Chicago P.D. release date is Wednesday, October 1 at 10/9c on NBC. New episodes of the season will continue to debut on a weekly basis in that same time slot. And if you're busy on Wednesday night, you can always stream the episodes on Peacock beginning the day after they air. Still, if you're a One Chicago fan, you may want to clear your schedule for Windy City Wednesdays. That night will also feature new episodes of Chicago Med (8/7c) and Chicago Fire (9/8c). And of course, there are plenty of other TV release dates to keep track of this fall. A trailer for Chicago P.D. season 13 has yet to be released.

The second and second-longest running series in the One Chicago franchise, Chicago P.D. premiered just one year after Chicago Fire. And at least one actor won't be returning to Chicago P.D. Toya Turner will not be returning as Officer Kiana Cook in season 13. However, you can look forward to seeing Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Officer Dante Torres, Jason Beghe as Sergeant Hank Voight, Patrick John Flueger as Officer Adam Ruzek, LaRoyce Hawkins as Officer Kevin Atwater, Amy Morton as Desk Sergeant Trudy Platt and Marina Squerciati as Detective Kim Burgess.

Chicago P.D. will debut on NBC on October 1.
