Cross Season 2 release date: When the Aldis Hodge series returns to Prime Video

The sophomore season of the show based on James Patterson’s Alex Cross novels is coming to Prime Video soon.


The crime thriller Cross, based on the Alex Cross novels by James Patterson, captured the attention of audiences when its first season debuted in autumn 2024. And soon, their patience will be rewarded with the arrival of Cross Season 2. So when will the release date for Cross Season 2 on Prime Video finally arrive?

The Cross Season 2 release date is February 11, 2026 on Prime Video. The first three episodes of the season will be available to stream on that date. The remaining five episodes of the eight-episode season will subsequently debut on a weekly basis, with the finale being released on March 18, 2026. It will have been a little over a year since Cross Season 1 was released on November 14, 2024. Naturally, Cross Season 2 is just one of the TV release dates you’ll want to keep track of over the course of the new few months. Here’s the official date announcement for Cross Season 2:

Cross stars Aldis Hodge as the titular detective and forensic psychologist. Working out of Washington, D.C. alongside his partner, Detective John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), Cross solves some of the most dangerous criminal cases in the United States. The cast also includes Juanita Jennings as Cross’s grandmother, Regina “Nana Mama” Cross, Alona Tal as FBI agent Kayla Craig, Caleb Elijah as Cross’s son Damon Cross and Samantha Walkes as Cross’s love interest, Elle Monteiro. Rounding out the main cast are Melody Hurd as Cross’s daughter, Janelle “Jannie” Cross, Jennifer Wigmore as Chief of Police April Anderson, Ryan Eggold as Ed Ramsey and Eloise Mumford as Shannon Witmer.

The release date for Cross Season 2 on Prime Video is February 11, 2026.
