Peacemaker star John Cena is ready to reunite with his castmates for another season – he’s just waiting for the call

John Cena misses his Peacemaker costars, and hopes they can return for another season “soon”

Peacemaker misses his friends.

Peacemaker season two ended with the DC Studios anti-hero trapped in the Salvation dimension, and his allies have no clue what happened to him, or how to rescue him. Peacemaker actor John Cena misses his friends too, not because he’s stuck in another dimension, but because they haven’t worked together since season two wrapped.

As of writing, DC Studios and HBO Max haven’t announced plans for a Peacemaker season three, but Cena is hoping he’ll get a chance to work with his castmates again soon.

“On the level of cool, 0 being the equator, 10 being the polar ice caps, Peacemaker is a 10,” John Cena said during a panel at Spacecon 2026. “To be able to create a character out of thin air, virtually unknown, and work under the mentorship of a brilliant storyteller like James Gunn, it doesn’t get much better than that. And shoutout to my Peacemaker crew. I miss my 11th Street Kids. I hope we can get back together soon. I love those guys.”

Between Chris Smith’s exile and the formation of Checkmate, there are certainly plenty of stories left to tell. It’s also possible that Peacemaker’s story will be picked up in another DC Universe project like Man of Tomorrow or Lanterns. Either way, let’s hope someone rescues Peacemaker from Salvation soon. He misses his friends, and we miss seeing them together.

Peacemaker Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on HBO Max now.
