Drops of God Season 2 release date: Prepare your bottle openers for the returning Apple TV series

The second season of the manga adaptation for oenophiles returns very soon

In Drops of God, two characters compete to lay claim to the Tokyo estate (and the accompanying world-class wine collection) of late oenophile Alexandre Léger. The Apple TV streaming series is based on the manga by Tadashi Agi and Shu Okimoto. Created by Quoc Dang Tran, the French-American-Japanese is set to return for its sophomore season soon. So, when can you expect the release date for Drops of God Season 2 to arrive?

The Drops of God Season 2 release date is January 21, 2026 on Apple TV. It has been a few years since the previous season concluded on June 2, 2023. Drops of God Season 2 will consist of eight episodes, which will be released on a weekly basis through March 11, 2026. And I don't need to tell you that it's just one of the exciting upcoming TV and streaming release dates to mark on your calendar. Here's the trailer for Drops of God Season 2:

Drops of God is the story of Camille Léger (Fleur Geffrier), estranged daughter of the late wine expert Alexandre Léger (Stanley Weber), and Alexandre's star student, Issei Tomine (Tomohisa Yamashita). In the show's first season, Camille traveled to Alexandre's Tokyo estate when he fell ill, but arrived too late to see him before he died. Soon, she has been drawn into a competition with Issei to determine whether Camille or Issei will inherit the estate, and by extension, the incredible collection of wines housed in its cellar. In the second season, the pair will have to search for the origin of the world's greatest wine, a mystery not even Alexandre himself managed to solve during his lifetime.

The release date for the season premiere of Drops of God Season 2 on Apple TV is January 21, 2026.
