The end of the world isn’t over yet, and Fallout Season 2 will be available for streaming on Prime Video before you can say “war never changes.” The post-apocalyptic drama series is an adaptation of the Fallout video game franchise, and it’s brought a whole new audience into the universe. So when can you expect the release date for Fallout Season 2 on Prime Video to entice you into leaving your Vault?
The Fallout Season 2 release date is December 17 on Prime Video. After the season premiere, the remaining episodes of the eight episode season will be released on a weekly basis through February 4, 2026. It has been quite a while since the previous season of the series was released, on April 10, 2024. There are quite a lot of upcoming TV release dates to be excited about. Fallout takes place in a parallel universe where post-World War II nuclear technologies created a retro futuristic world. But in 2077, a nuclear war between China and the United States leaves the world a burned-up husk. Centuries later, in 2296, Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) leaves her home in Vault 33 and begins to explore the world beyond in search of her missing father, Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan). Meanwhile, Brotherhood of Steel squire Maximus (Amir Carr) lay claim to a power suit. And bounty hunter The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), a gunslinger who has been “alive” since before the war, has been added to the mix as well.
