The United States military has bases all around the world, so what goes on at the "least important army base in the world?" You're asking the wrong person, but at least we can see this question explored to comedic effect in FOX's sitcom Going Dutch. Returning for a second season, we'll just have to see what hijinks the cast gets up to this time.
Going Dutch season 2 release date Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 9:30 PM ET/PT on FOX. Thursday nights are your time to get your half-hour comedy fix in. The Joel McHale show, Animal Control, will premiere its fourth season at 9 PM, also on January 15. So if you've been looking for a reason to park yourself in front of the tube for a whole American hour, you've got it.
Despite the setting of the show in a small town in the Netherlands, Going Dutch is actually shot in Ireland, on a real Irish army base. Series star Denis Leary has no qualms with Ireland as a filming location, because he has "hundreds of cousins" there who were able to visit him on set. As an Irish American myself with enough first cousins to fill out an NFL team roster, I suddenly feel inadequate. It remains to be seen if Leary's third cousin Conan O'Brien will ever drop in on set.
Going Dutch season 2 will premiere on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 9:30 PM on FOX.
