Listen, we need to talk, folks. It feels like just last year we were talking about having some sort of boundaries when it comes to meeting your favorite voice actors at comic conventions. No,w one of the stars of Hazbin Hotel has dropped the most unhinged request they’ve had from a fan and it is something else. Needless to say, he didn’t fulfill it.
Blake Roman, who voices Angel Dust in Hazbin Hotel, was asked to describe the wildest request they have had from a fan at a convention. While co-stars Stephanie Beatriz and Kimiko Glenn shied away from sharing the most bizarre fan interactions they’ve had, Roman was much more forthcoming. “
I think one of my favorites,” he explains to the audience at the Hazbin Hotel panel at MCM Comic Con 2025. “I did have somebody come up to me and they were like, ‘Hey, umm, could you moan my name in Angel Dust’s voice into a voice memo?’ and I was like, ‘Fuck no. I won’t be doing that, but honestly, like respect. Like, shoot your shot.”
Roman explains that since he’s been doing conventions, he’s had to get “good at establishing boundaries” with fans to make sure they don’t ask him to do something that makes him uncomfortable. We know that the Hazbin Hotel fandom is somewhat intense, but we really don’t want to have to get a hose to cool you all down. The fact that we’ve had to have this conversation twice already is a bit much.
